Not sure if the 1000 cards will be achieved, but it must still be a record number for a challenge blog???
I'm also entering this into the ColourQ challenge and Simon Says Stamp Challenge 'Dies or Punches'
I've been wanting to use this waste from some flower die cuts for a while and when I saw the colour palette at ColourQ I knew this would suit.
The flowers are Die-namics dies and the circles of coloured card are placed behind the die-cut shapes, the leaves are from the same set but have been cut from green card and mounted on top instead. The flower centres are made from small circles of the same card that have been embossed on the back with a large ball headed pergamano tool on a foam stamp mat to give them a raised , rounded appearance.
Not sure that the green of the gems is such a good match now I see the image on the computer...ho hum :)
Love the pretty summery colours...makes a change for me, but who could resist that china in the picture below :)
I'm so looking forward to the Big Stamp and Scrapbooking show tomorrow (Saturday) at Alexandra Palace...we haven't been for a few years but there's nothing like the buzz of the atmosphere and seeing the products in real life instead of a monitor screen!
Hannah has designed a page for a scrapbook kit on sale at Scrap Revolution this weekend and is helping on their sale stand too for a couple of hours...oh dear that'll mean I have more browsing time :oD
I'll try and remember to take some pictures.... if my hands aren't too full... Lol :)
Thanks for looking, back soon X
