My Crafty Haul

So we are back from our little jaunt to Ally Pally yesterday .... I remember why I stopped going now, too many people and too much barging about...anyone would think the products were going out of production!!!

It was a lovely day weather-wise so a gentle walk up the hill from the station was in order, to a misty view across London,  not worth photographing so here's one of Ally Pally itself
We tried the arm out-stretched self portrait shot in front of the building but it wasn't working!!
It was just too busy in the hall itself so no more pics from the day, but here is most of the stash I bought
A selection of clear stamps...we seem to have a tree and bird theme going on here!!!
There didn't seem to be as much choice with the stamps ...only a trace of Penny Black and hardly any Hero Arts!
A pad of yummy Tim Holtz co-ordinations card with a Kraft core...oh yes KRAFT :)  A Christmas vine embossing folder, holly leaf punch, yummy buttons and I thought I would try a pack of the new fine nibs for Promarkers.  There are also some funky die-cut Santas, acrylic buttons and strips of calico/cotton too.
A selection of adhesive pearls in gorgeous colours and a cheaper version of Nestabilities in a fancy bracket shape...I've tried this companies shape dies before so thought I would try these too :)
and what I really wanted to get, a large guillotine as my Carl Rotatrim is just rubbish now. This will take 12x12 easily and has an extension arm for longer measuring so Hannah can use it too in her scrapbooking... it's very sharp and will definitely be out of James's reach!!!

Well that's about it apart from a bit of adhesive, some lovely packs of A4 card to use as card bases and a few memento teardrop inkpads :)

I'm itching to get using it today but I will save it until later and in the week when the house is empty :) Lots of  jobs to do today ...making up for the day out yesterday!and I need to catch up with my blog hopping too!

I'll be back in the week, thanks for visiting X

  9. Wow what a stash. Must have similar taste because I bought three of same stamps from Harrogate (Little Claire/Red Gingham and hero arts tree). I agree about the crowds its manic and gets frustrating, Sunday was better at Harrogate, much quieter. Enjoy using your new stash.

  19. Oh what a lovely haul! I went to Ally Pally earlier in the year, it took me three hours to get there, but was so worth it! I saved myself this time as I'm going to the show in Birmingham in November, and haven't told hubby yet! Can't wait to see what you create with your new stash!
