The Runway Inspired challenge photo caught my eye this week with the bold brights against the black dress and this card idea popped into my head
You can just about make out the small black flowers towards the base of the card as the cascade dwindles.... this was another 'outside photo needed' card !!!
I had to laugh at some of your comments about our eventful day yesterday.... seriously, those days are few and far between and today has been just like normal apart from my lack of wheels, yep hubby's car broke down last night and it's now languishing at a garage waiting for a new fuel pump to arrive and be fitted! Probably wont get it back until Thursday so the next two days are going to be fun and games whilst he uses mine instead.... best find that bike of mine and see what state the tyres are in or should I dig out my old roller boots!! now that would be a sight for sore eyes and a sore bum for me no doubt ;0)
Thanks for looking :0)

I wish I had your kind of thoughts popping into my brain! What a beautiful and dramatic cascade of flowers.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter was a bit bored this afternoon and in an effort to cheer her up I suggested we do something together. She said roller blades and I said skipping! Skipping it was but what a sight to see me jumping up and down in the back garden! However no bruised bots!! x
Fab card-love the bright colours against the black.

ReplyDeleteDo you know, Jenny, your blog keeps disappearing from my reader entirely? STILL! And even when it's in the list, I have to click on it to see the posts. I have some 4-letter words for blogger O_o lol!
ReplyDeleteI can't even tell you how much I love this card - the texture of all those flowers! And the black ones just emphasize the glory of the coloured ones. Awesome!
Fun & Games, huh? So NOT what I'd be thinking ;) Good luck with the bike or roller skates...wear a helmet! (Also, pictures for the rest of us.)

ReplyDeleteAWESOME take on the inspiration Jenny! Love the brightness of those flowers and.... it reminds me that I need to get out those punches again!
ReplyDeleteOh WOW Jenny, this is just stunning! Absolutely love it!
ReplyDeleteRe the chicken pox - things have probably not changed that much, it's just me being overly cautious... hubby's mum is being treated for cancer and it's so dangerous for her to be exposed to it - I can't help worrying that we might make someone really ill without realising it. So for this week I'm parking at the top of the school field and Morgan walks up to meet us, just so I can limit the amount of people I need to feel paranoid about! Now you know what a looper I am lol! Lisa x
Wow, absolutely stunning, Jenny! I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this card.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great interpretation of the dress. I love the overlapping of your flowers.
