When I saw that Simon Says Stamp's Challenge was to use Lawn Fawn stamps on a sketch this week, I couldn't let it pass without making a card and I thought I'd give the little penguin from 'Critters in the Snow' the chance to fly ....
I decided to use the umbrella from 'Partly cloudy' as my parachute and masked out the brolly handle.
I cut away the negative space to allow the blue to show through the frame and then used black thread to attach the parachute to the little penguin ... et voila!
I've tried to pretty much keep to the sketch and just turned it through 90 degrees whilst keeping it nice and CAS too :)
Hope you're enjoying the weekend whatever your doing, and as this is a scheduled post I just hope the weather is behaving for everyone in the UK .... it's normally pants on Bank Holiday weekends!
Thanks for looking and sorry for the lack of blog hopping, normal service will resume when I get back home :)
