Casual Krafts-men

Hello everyone ,

This post could easily be about the cowboy that extended our bungalow , with a title like that , but that's a whole different story and not what I'm talking about here :)

I've been absent again for a few days but finally got some time to play last night in my craft room , including using my new Paper Smooches stamps ready for my first Guest Design spot on the PS blog ,Wednesday :)

....... but today I want to share my Casual Fridays card with you , and this week it's a card for the men in our life using a piece of Kraft card somewhere in the design , hence Krafts-men , they come up with some catchy titles :)

As you can see I've gone for mostly Kraft and I've embossed a piece with PTI's woodgrain IP to make the wall plaque . The paint cans and brush are a Woodware stamp coloured with promarkers and I've used acrylic paint on the cans , brush and plaque itself . I just love the wood effect showing through the paint :)

I've got lots of challenges to catch up with , I'll no doubt be back again tomorrow , so bye for now and thanks for looking and leaving a comment ... I truly appreciate them all x

  4. This is absolutely perfect in every way! Even the "DAD" is the right size for the paintbrush! The blue is the perfect color to pop from the cardstock particularly with that swoosh of white "paint"!
