I love paper piecing, its a bit like hanging wallpaper...
instant result but a bit tricky trimming around the fiddly bits :)
I thought these cups from Avery Elle would look so neat in scraps of patterned paper and they really look so bright against the white space. I didn't trim all the handles out in pp... I had ideas of using coloured pencil but decided they look fine without :)
They are actually stacked inside one another by tucking them through a
slit in the top of the cup below... that way I could tilt the cups to make a wiggly stack :)
I made the elongated aperture by extending a rectangle die along a panel of card.
I would love such a collection of pretty mugs... it was fun to pick out the patterns and colours :)
