Time has just flown and I'm back here again with the new Designer Drafts challenge at
Paper Smooches Sparks
This sketch has lots of scope, I decided to flip it upside down and use
Calico and
Daisies & Paisley's stamp sets to make a summer border bursting with colour :0)....
I have cut around and between all those flowers by hand with my craft knife!! Talk about hold your breath but it was well worth it so the inked sky could be seen through the stems. The sky is masked and inked with Salty Ocean through to Tumbled Glass and I've used the smallest
cloud dies to make three masks for the top portion of the sky.
The bumpy
border die is a lovely shape for making soil for my flowers to grow in and the butterfly is made from a solid flower stamp in the Calico set... I just left one petal un-inked :0) The sentiment is from
Simply Said.
Here are the links to the rest of this weeks DT or visit the
PS Sparks blog here for more details.
If you live in the UK you can find a huge selection of
Paper Smooches stamps available at
Make the Day Special not to mention great service too :0)
Thanks for your visit and I look forward to seeing you in the gallery
