The CASology challenge caught my eye with the cue word being WELCOME.... it just so happened that I needed to make a New Home card for my Sister in Law and hubby who moved house at the end of last week.
I found a fabulous stamp set on Etsy called Moving Sentiments... it has some great images and sentiments perfect for that most stressful event in life!!
I used three different colours of card to make the boxes all different and inked the edges with distress ink.... love that you can add the labels to whichever box you want :) I basically paper pieced everything and inked edges for some dimension..... yes even those leaves!!
Did you spot the mishap with one of the boxes?.... moving is not without its perils *wink* .....I gather everything went fairly smoothly for my Sister in Law... phew :)
Thanks for stopping by :)

This is the cutest moving card EVER, Jenny! So many wonderful eye-loving details and no one looking at it will be able to resist remembering their own moving experiences ~ including caved-in fragile boxes and this end DOWN!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteSuper card, Jenny, and it's sure to bring a smile! Love the clean look.
ReplyDeleteLove your card Jenny. All those little details are perfect, not to mention the colouring. We just moved last week too (and changed countries in the process) so are still suffering the pain. A card like this would have made it all a bit better!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this too! I needed a "New Home" set just recently, I may have to add this to my collection ;-)
ReplyDeleteTFS! xx
