Make the Day Special stamp store blog. Yesterday Kate and I were on the blog showcasing Layers V's One Layer and we used Lawn Fawns
Home Sweet Home.
I've become a fan of One layer cards since joining in with card challenges over the years... having the card front as my only blank canvas reduces the decisions I need to make. I still like to try and add some interest to a OLC by trimming away a strip of the front panel....
I carefully inked and stamped the small twig stamp in the set three times to make a larger branch that could stretch across the card, I then used a ruler and knife to trim a section of the front panele and freehand cut around the image.
I love how the contrasting paper strip shows through to the front :)
Kate has made a brilliant Shaker card with the same stamp set.... please
