PS Sparks - Picture Perfect Challenge

Hello Everyone :0)..... sorry it's been a while but we've just arrived back from a family holiday to Switzerland and I'm currently trying to get back to normality and scramble above the laundry pile!!
Anyhow it's Monday and I'm a little late posting this but it's time for a new Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge and this week is a photo inspiration week.....

The neutral colours grabbed my intention way before the crayons did and I decided to go with a Paper Smooches set that hadn't seen ink before *shame*... I think these colours are perfect for a wedding card :0)

I can't wait to see how the photo inspires you.... so many trigger points and options to go with, remember to link up before 11.59pm Sunday EST and don't forget to hop over here to see my teamies inspirational cards too :0)

You can buy Paper Smooches stamps here in the UK at Make the Day Special where pre-ordering has just begun for the latest PS releases :0)
I'm hoping to get some photos of our holiday sorted to show you soon.... I'm also hoping that Mr Mojo came home with me too for when I venture into the craftroom later this week!!!
Thanks for looking :0)

PS Sparks - Designer Drafts Challenge

Yay!!! the time has come for my first Paper Smooches Sparks challenge on the design team and it's Designer Drafts week and here is the Sketch we have for you this week...

Well after suffering with a bit of stage-fright (have you seen the amazing ladies on the team!!) I finally got my Paper Smooches "thang" going and came up with this take on the sketch....

I just love how that cute worm curls round the corner in his underground world and of course the sentiment had to be punny!!! I promise it won't happen everytime :0)
The large panel on the left of the sketch threw me a bit but after searching through loads of papers I settled on this scrap of PP...ironically the first piece I looked at *sighs*.... does that happen to anyone else???

Hop over to the PS Sparks blog or click on the links below to see the wonderful inspiration from my fellow teamies then get your PS "thang" on too.. I can't wait to see how you work the sketch :0)

Thanks for visiting :0)

Start with a Smile

I don't know about you but waking up to the sun streaming round the edges of the curtains certainly makes me get out of bed with a spring in my step, despite the looming battle every morning to get James out of bed and ready for school.... oh and 'Happy' is definitely an optional mood for him in the morning!!
Why am I telling you all this you ask??? ....It's because my DT card this week reflects my happy morning mood on these sunny days ...

The sunshine rays stamps and dies are everywhere at the moment and they seemed the perfect partner for this happy breakfast set...... wouldn't it be good if the toast did pop up with a smile in the morning, that might be a good incentive for James too!!.... I have been known to draw funny faces in the butter on his toast in the morning when he was younger to encourage him to eat something at brekkie time :0)

I'm going to pop this in over at the Lawnscaping Challenge which has a colouring challenge on the go at the moment and I just wanted to say another big thank you to the Lawnscaping ladies for selecting my MGM  lion card as the winner of the CAS challenge last week... he's grinning with even more pride now :0)

Thanks for your visit

Thank Goodness for Purple!!

Hello there :0)
It's been a while since my last post and life has been a little busy with the kiddos at home last week so I didn't get round to playing along at Less is More's humour challenge!! For this weeks challenge we have to reproduce the colour of our front door on our cards and ours is just good old white upvc with the standard black trims but luckily, due to a mix up at the factory, we have a splash of purple in the stained glass effect panels... hence the title of my blog post :0)

Not to miss out on last weeks humour challenge I thought this Acid Drops and Whatnots stamp set would lend itself perfectly to the colours.... I used Inktense watercolour pencils to colour her dress, skin and tea-cup :0)

Here's a tightly cropped shot of the inside of our door to show the colour in the glass.... tightly cropped so you don't see the 'jumble sale' style shoe rack just inside the door.. oh and please ignore the finger marks on the glass too!! Okay so house work is not high on my list of things to do.. Lol :0)

Whilst I'm here I thought I'd share my DT card from the weekend over at Make the Day Special. I've used Wplus9 stamps and dies called Fresh Picked and Pinking Squares which are currently in stock but I wanted to let you know that Louise currently has a page set up for pre-ordering the latest and older Wplus9 stamp sets. The pre-order page will be open until next Tues and can be found here :0)

Thanks for stopping by :0)
