I'm back again to share with you a card I made for my brother and sister-in-laws Wedding Anniversary today using the Tic Tac Toe challenge at CASual Fridays .
I chose the Buttons , Dies or punch , Emboss row and also took my inspiration from the tic tac toe game board . I've used the PTI 'Book Print' IP on the background and embossed the grid lines for the gameboard (not easy to see ) .
The picture quality isn't very good on my blog , but if you click on the card you can see the emboss detail a bit better . What size does everyone else re size there photos too before uploading to blogger as I'm not happy with my picture quality recently , they seem a bit fuzzy ? ... I know red isn't the easiest colour to photograph either .
This type of challenge is new to me and I loved the idea of picking your own mix of embellishments , why not hop over to the blog here and see the details for yourself and take in all the inspirational cards from the design team along with Guest designer Tami Mayberry this week .
Edit to add : I'm also entering this into Gallery Idol after a couple of suggestions from my fabby followers ( thanks for pointing me in the right direction Lynne and JenW ) , details can be found here if you want to join in too .... nothing ventured nothing gained and it looks like fun too :)

On a different note .... it's wet and windy here today , very chilly too but the garden is enjoying it . Despite the distinct lack of rain and the threat of a hosepipe ban this summer , the allotment is doing well .
This is the first proper year of having an allotment in the garden , meaning we can have veg from garden to plate in a matter of minutes in some cases . James loves helping too especially finding the new potatoes when we dig the roots for dinner and he's patiently waiting for the strawberry plants to start producing fruit and waiting patiently isn't an easy thing to do when you're Autistic :)
Thanks for calling in today I really appreciate your comments , they make my day X
Oh...what a creative take on the challenge! I love the little x and o hanging off on the bottom too! You should enter this in the Gallery Idol competition on PaperCrafts too! Love, love, love the creativity!
ReplyDeleteAnd...fresh vegs/strawberries...sounds wonderful!
Jenny, I love your creativity! This card is a fabulous take on the CAS-ual Fridays challenge.
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny, I LOVE your card. I really loved this type of challenge too - my first. I love that you used a tic-tac-toe board in your design. Love the black, red, white color scheme - love the scoring. I also love the story of your garden and of James awaiting the strawberries. We had 100 degrees here on Wednesday. Today is is chilly. Sounds like we have the same weather today. Have a wonderful day - hope you can beat down the ironing pile!
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny, You've really made the most delightful card, I love it and I can imagine it giving an awful lot of pleasure to your brother and sister in law, Gay xx

ReplyDeleteFirst of all well done for all your recent wins!
ReplyDeleteYour work was amazing! I always love what you come up with!
Talking about win I still haven't recieved your address for your prize. My e-mail is emilie.chamel@btinternet.com
I would like to know which light tent and lamps you have as I intend in investing in one. I find that the pics are fuzzier and fuzzier and my blog too so I am wondering if it's a blogger thing?
Anyway, I love your card as always!
A wonderful lovely card, love the buttons and that you have sewn them on, also love the colours used. They will be thrilled with it I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteAs for the weather, we are a bit cheesed with the rain, coming home from work on Friday it was so heavy the cars were doing 20mph on the motorway and the spray was so bad, I couldn't see the cars in front, a mile down the road and it hadn't even been raining!! Don't you just love our British weather :)
Such a fun and creative card Jenny, gorgeous. I am hoping the fuzzy card issue is a blogger thing... I was beginning to think I needed glasses!
